To receive the best advice you need the best advisor. Alex Warren is certainly in that category. Alex is unique in not only his high level of knowledge and experience in financial planning but also in the amount of areas that Alex advises in.
Twenty million dollar transactions were the average size of daily transactions that Alex dealt with when working for a Swiss investment bank. That was the starting point for Alex’s career in the finance industry. From there Alex has settled millions of dollars in residential and commercial loans and has been involved in the start-up and strategy advice of numerous businesses. Alex not only saves clients thousands of dollars a year through his expertise in financial planning strategies but saves them numerous headaches with his determination to get the top outcome for clients. Investment wise Alex is the steady hand in the emotional rollercoaster of investing. Through rigorous research and an asset-based approach Alex delivers a successful “investment experience” to every client and helps clients steadfastly focus on the benefits of long-term investing. Frozen funds are non-existent with clients and with consistent and rational investing clients have benefited greatly.
Alex has a Bachelor of Business (majoring in Economics and Banking and Finance) from Queensland University of Technology. He also has Diploma of Financial Services and Certificate 4 in Mortgage Broking. Alex is a professional member of the Economics Society of Australia and is an associate member of the Financial Planning Association.
Alex was recruited straight from Queensland University of Technology, even before he finished his Bachelor of Business in Economics and Banking and Finance. A prominent Swiss Investment Bank was impressed with not only his consistently good grades but with his application of this knowledge. They were well rewarded with an employee that twice topped their graduate training program held in the UK, competing with graduates from all over the world. Alex worked in the Sydney office on a graduate training program where he was rotated and trained in many areas of the investment bank. When he relocated to London his reputation preceded him and obtained him an instant position in their credit vetting section. His standard of work was so well regarded that when returning from a round the world trip he was appointed to establish the credit vetting area for the Asia Pacific.
Alex established Mango Wealth Creation in 2004 and has founded a “fresh approach” to financial planning. This approach is taken seriously with a strong push towards a fee for service approach. Fee for service approach is unique as financial planning has traditionally been a commission based industry. Another fresh idea has been to have a holistic view of financial planning. Many financial planners’ only cover specific areas such as investment only or have a one size fits all strategy for clients. Alex covers all areas of financial planning from investments, to superannuation, estate planning and insurance and tailors financial plans to individual situations.
